just a little sneak peak at hadley's party. it has been almost two weeks, and i am just now getting a chance to sit down and edit some of these to share. to our family out west who have been waiting to see photos, here you go! more soon. i promise.

haddy's three! and other tales from our week.

crazy busy from Hadley's bday, now prepping for her party, and enjoying this visit we have with my mom. 

let's see. wednesday was hadley's third birthday. i will edit photos asap and get a couple up. she enjoyed her day mucho. she got a couple packages in the mail, which is about her favorite thing ever. her gifts included a tball set, hot wheels mat, clothes, books, dvd's, hungry hungry hippo, and more! she loved her pretty pink cake, and thinks it's now her bday every day, and can't wait for her party tomorrow. 

uh, and later wednesday night, into the morning, we were watching out for a tornado. There aparently were three here locally, but i would say more than 15 miles south of us. we never had to wake grandma beth and hadley to move them into the sheltered rooms in the house. they slept peacefully all night long. 

yesterday, it seems there was a tornado in mcminnville, oregon, the town i grew up in. this is almost unheard of. i don't know if there has ever been one in that town, but oregon is a fairly tornado free zone, i only remember hearing of one very small one in my lifetime. this one was also small, i guess. a roof flew off, blah blah blah. it's nothing compared to OK, so is it even worth mentioning???

yes, tomorrow is Haddy's party, and we are busy getting ready. Also, it's my bday too, and as i mentioned a couple weeks ago, we will do a giveaway. i will try to get that up sometime tomorrow, but if i do not, forgive me, and i will get it up by monday for sure. if i have learned one thing recently, it's that life is a little busier these days, and i am not always adjusting flawlessly:) sometimes i put a little too much on my plate. so, i will admit now, the giveaway will be sometime in the next few days!! hahahah.

Justin

justin at our wedding last summer. 

my handsome nephew, justin, turned four today. as in, on the 8th. it's past midnight now. that is why i am soon to crash. sleepy. but thought this was worth sharing. sweet little man justin rocked my world when his daddies brought him home to seattle from phoenix. my life will never be the same. happy birthday, my justin. i love you.

(also, this is my brother in law jon's bday, my cousin crystal and a friend. this starts the busy birthday month in our family. hadley and my brother nat are on the 12th, me on the 15th, i feel like i am missing one, and then my cousin lori on the 29th.)

here i am.

this little lady is fast approaching 3!!

did anyone notice i dropped off the face of earth?! so much for blogging daily. i was so naive to think i could do that, with our trip to indianapolis, followed immediately by our trip to minneapolis. 

i was gone for basically a stretch of 11 days. we are glad to be home, and glad to have grandma beth with us for one more week. if you don't follow me on facebook, you can look forward to me sharing some fun stuff in the coming days.
