snow. wait. sun. wait. snow.

Boppers hits the teeny weeny hill.
tuesday morning, we woke up to find several inches of snow had accumulated at our house. this was probably the second most snow we'd seen this winter. haddy and i sent daddy off to work with a frown, and zoomed out to play before the sun melted it away. i discovered it is twice as much work with only one parent. no tradesies. we zoomed around the pond a couple times, and slid down teeny weeny hill time after time, after time, after time. how can i resist this little face, especially when she's saying "again, please?" what a sweet little girl. yes, there is a binky in her mouth. we are working to get rid of that. i don't know how she pulled that off, actually. we have been down to sleepy time only for a while now.

66 degrees 1 day after big snow!
yes, one day after our sledding fun we were out playing in the sunshine and, dare i say, warmth. i can't decide whether i should keep hoping for more snowy winter weather, or get excited for an ohio spring (whatever that is like.) hadley enjoys running through grass, picking up rocks out of the landscaping, and checking out the neighborhood ducks. ohio has been really good to her:)

today we enjoyed a little snow AND a little sun. just when we were running out the door to get joseph for lunch, i looked out to see the crispy flakes coming down. i really wished i wasn't wearing a little skirt (my leggings were all in the dryer still. or i'd have had them on, too. with my boots) and flip flops. a totally oregon thing to do. fortunately, i didn't even have to get out of the car.

well, now it is 10pm. we've been to the gym, had a crockpot dinner, hadley is long asleep, i am blogging and watching gilmore girls, and joseph is at dodgers.com. just another day here in the linn-gilbuena house. nite.
